Ebere Orji she featured for the Nigeria U20 squad, the Falconets, as they qualified for the Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Japan, expressed delight at being invited by the coach saying they are ready to help the team qualify for the AWC finals in Equatorial Guinea. "I am very happy to be in camp with my team mates and I am looking forward to playing a big role, if the coach needs me," said Orji. "The first-leg result was massive for us but the job is not done yet. We still have to play 90 minutes of football against a very good Zimbabwean side and we need to work hard to beat them in front of our fans."

Ordega reiterated the importance of being adequately prepared for the match against the Mighty Warriors of Zimbabwe, and assures that the team will take nothing for granted into the game. "I spoke to my team mates about the Mighty Warriors and they told me how tough they were to play against. We have to play them in Nigeria like it is the first leg. "I believe in the Falcons and in our abilities. We have to believe in ourselves and play according to the coach's instructions. If we do that I believe we will have good result against Zimbabwe." Orji and Ordega join defender Osinachi Ohale as the new players invited by Kadiri Ikhana, swelling the number of players in camp to 22 players. The Falcons will play Zimbabwe on June 16 before playing South Africa in a friendly match on June 23.
