By virtue of her parents' mixed nationality, Leroux was eligible to represent either Canada or the United States. She participated in the youth international teams of both countries, but by appearing in a competitive FIFA-sanctioned senior event at the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, she is now permanently tied to the U.S. team.
